I have been a recurring patron of Olde Dominion Tavern for several years. Tonight, I made a return visit for their Monday night 12 burger and a beer deal. I am highly pleased with the experience! Not only were my beer, Battlefield Burger, side Caesar salad and venison meatballs most refreshing and delicious, the staff was highly attentive. Several staff members checked in with me in the roughly 45 minutes that my meal lasted. And my server Lily H. was a delight to chat with throughout the evening. She is a credit to the excellence this restaurant has consistently offered me. I hope she will remain. I look forward to a return visit soon!

The Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich is amazing! After many visits, I can say the service has always been great and the food is delicious! We’ve really enjoyed everything we’ve ordered. Love having this option in the neighborhood!

I recently hosted a bridal shower in the private room at Olde Dominion Tavern, and it was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, the experience exceeded my expectations. The service was top-notch, and the food was delicious—everyone was raving about it. The private room itself was beautiful, creating the perfect setting for such a special event. The entire staff was friendly, but I want to shout out Reese, Millie, and Kellen who I worked closely with during the event. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and really made the day unforgettable. I’m beyond happy with how everything turned out and highly recommend them!

If you’re in Prince William County, Virginia, and looking for a fantastic dining experience, Old Dominion Tavern in Haymarket is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is welcoming, whether you’re stopping by for a casual meal or a night out with friends. Their beer and tap selection is second to none, and their bourbon collection is a treat for enthusiasts. We absolutely love the service—friendly, attentive, and always on point. The food? Incredible! Our favorite go-to is the Spicy Avocado Burger, which is packed with flavor and perfectly cooked every time. While the Rib Eye Steak is no longer on the menu, it deserves a special mention—it was by far the best steak I’ve ever had, rivaling dishes from high-end restaurants that require reservations. Old Dominion Tavern truly sets itself apart with quality, taste, and a great vibe. I highly recommend it to anyone in Haymarket, Gainesville, Marshall, Warrenton, or the greater Northern Virginia area! A little piece of heaven in Haymarket!

I have been here twice so far, once for dinner and once for brunch. Both times I enjoyed excellent food and service. For dinner, I went in with a large group. Everyone was very satisfied with their selections. Food came out fresh and delicious. I had the spicy avocado burger (juicy & tasty), a 1/2 dozen oysters (super fresh) and a perfectly made dirty martini. For brunch I had the shrimp and Gouda grits. It was exactly what I was craving. Shrimp was perfectly cooked and grits were creamy and well seasoned. I asked for the gravy on the side just in case it was too salty. However I could have eaten it by the spoonful. So good! The service was also fantastic. All of the staff was great (I think the servers were Jenna and Emma). We interacted with Millie both times and she was awesome! She made us feel welcomed and ensured we had a fantastic experience from start to finish. I will definitely be back to try some of the other dishes but would go back for just to have the oysters and shrimp/grits again.

The complementary fresh popcorn was a very nice touch (amazing flavor). The hot chicken sandwich was huge and tasted really good (ask for a side of the spicy ranch that comes with the wings and dip your sandwich in it and come and thank me later) it comes with a very generous amount of fries but mine came a bit cold (which was the only downside of the whole visit but I didn’t feel it worth losing a star) the wings are a must try (a bit salty because if the rub). Finally, my girls loved the grilled chicken kids meal, I tasted it and it was surprisingly good. The staff were very welcoming, responsive and had a big smile all the time.. Keep it up Olde Dominion

I went to Olde Dominion Tavern last night, as it was chosen for the site of a first date. The date fell through, but the atmosphere and the service was lovely! I was really impressed with the clarity of the restaurant's layout, with the bar closest to the front door, and dining areas of increasing intimacy further in. In the back was a bustling event area for larger groups, which seemed to be running a trivia or private event when I was there. I had the Baked Brie appetizer, served with Blackberry jam and apple slices, and a lovely local ale brewed right here in Virginia. The food came promptly, and the bartender was friendly and attentive. I will be going back to the Olde Dominion Tavern!

Amazing brunch at Olde Dominion Tavern! We ordered the Short Ribs Eggs Benedict and Venison Chili, and both dishes were fantastic. The hollandaise on the eggs benedict was smooth, and the poached eggs were cooked to perfection. The short ribs were incredibly tender, savory, and delicious. Everything down to the orange/lemon juice blend on the fresh berries stood out. This touch added a refreshing and sweet contrast to the rich flavors. It’s those small details that really show attention and that this place is dedicated to quality and flavor. The bartender was also very courteous Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a well-executed meal and excellent service!
